The O&M Training Center is currently staffed with a Supervisor, three Instructors and a Management Services Technician. On an annual basis the Training Center schedules approximately 44 apprentice classes to be taught to the 74 Department Apprentices and MTOT and MSOTs enrolled in various trades. In addition, the staff will teach, or sponsor, 21 journey-level seminars to trades and craft personnel in the Department of Water Resources and other related State agencies.
The Training Center staff emphasizes the current trade standards, professionalism, craftsmanship, and fairness in all classes at the Training Center. The staff feels strongly that by instilling quality at the "entry-level" we can achieve quality at the "journey-level" and contribute to the O&M "vision" to "Deliver Affordable Water".
