Course Title: Basic Refrigeration & E.P.A. Rule 608 Review

Course Information: This class is designed as a refresher course to improve knowledge of basic refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Class Prerequisites: A basic knowledge of refrigeration systems.

Class Subjects

Day One – 8 Hours Day Two – 8 Hours
  • Definitions of air conditioning, refrigeration and temperature enthalpy.
  • Psychrometric charts, evaporators, and condensers.
Day Three – 8 Hours Day Four – 8 Hours
  • Compressors, metering devices, and air flow.
  • Refrigerants, properties and oil requirements.

  • Basic trouble shooting.

  • Hands-on training.

  • Charging systems and accessories.
