Course Title: High Voltage Switching

Course Information: This is a 24-hour course on high voltage switching. This class is designed for the student who has some experience in lockout/tagout procedures. The student will gain knowledge in the proper methods of high voltage switching safety. Some topics included: OSHA safety guidelines, proper grounding techniques, switchyard components, and discussion of Department related accidents/incidents.
Class Prerequisites: Students should have a working knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures, i.e. OP2.
