Course Title: Programmable Logic Controllers

Time: 0730 to 1530 hours, Days 1 – 3

Course Information: This is a 3 day course on understanding and programming programmable logic controllers. The student will learn the principles of operation programming and troubleshooting automated systems using programmable logic controllers.
Class Prerequisites: None

  • Architecture and operation.

  • The input/output system.

  • Ladder programming.

  • Input instructions.

  • Output instructions.

  • Special programming issues.

  • Basic relay programming.

  • Lab.

  • Timers.

  • Counters.

  • Comparators.

  • Maintenance & troubleshooting.

  • Lab.

  • Hands on exercises
