Course Title: SWP Power Resources & Power Management
Location: San Joaquin Field Division

Course Information: This 20-hour course was developed for all craft personnel who are involved in the operations of SWP facilities and aqueducts. The student will learn where the SWP power comes from, how it is scheduled, transmitted, and controlled, and what is involved in the decision making process to determine how/when the SWP is to operate.
Class Prerequisites: Students should have an understanding of the SWP operations, power transmission, and advanced electrical theory.
